Adding an Event Instructions
Step 1: Go to the “Events” tab on your Dashboard
Step 2: Click on the “Add Event” button located in the center of the screen. NOTE – there are 3 different statuses for events. Open where parents can book the event, Inactive which means you have not yet activated the event for parents to book, and Closed which means the time of the event has elapsed.
Step 3: Select the event type that you would like on the left side of the screen. There are various templates to choose from.
Step 4: Give that event a “Name” and hit “Create“
Step 5: You will be prompted to Create the event.
Step 6: Your event now displays all the relevant details to share with parents, including a QR code, URL link, and booking code
Step 7: Activating the Event requires you to slide the toggle over in the upper right-hand corner
Step 8: To change the details of the event, click on “Edit“
Step 9: You can now change:
Name of the event
Subject title for emails sent to parents
Email Welcome message – email that can be sent to specific parents
Booking page message – display that parents see when you click QR code
Email confirmation message – email parents receive after they book
Step 10: Change the start time of event by clicking on “Edit“
Step 11: You can customize the Date, Start/End times, Duration of the meetings, and Location. When you’ve entered all details, click Save.
Step 12: If you have multiple days of the same event, click on “Add Section”
